Canadian power-pop-punk unit Tokyo Police Club escapes the busy urban bustle of their namesake and retreats to the woods in the video for “Cheer It On,” from their EP, A Lesson in Crime. This simple, stripped-down, zipped-up video finds the band alone outside on a nippy afternoon. With the help of ski parkas and an unexplained power supply, the boys deliver their pensive-yet-hopeful cautionary message to the masses. Watch as these Ontarians bring garage rock to the great outdoors in this self-referential, prototypically indie video.
