Finally, our girls Tegan & Sara have announced details of their new album! It will be called The Con, has been co-produced by Chris Walla in his studio in Portland (make sure you click that link - you won’t be sorry), and you can pick up your own copy on July 24.
You might not know, but Hunter Burgan of AFI and Matt Sharp both played bass on the album, while Death Cab’s Jason McGerr supplied drums. We doubt this super group will be doing tour support, but a Burgan/Sharp bass-off would be pretty hilarious.
The press release we ganked all this info from informs us that they’ll be playing a series of intimate shows before hitting a full blown tour…and those shows start right now. Watch them perform for just you on your computer - here’s a little ditty the girls like to call “Walking With A Ghost”.
