What’s the best group you’ve ever heard of from Miami? KC and the Sunshine Band? Gloria Estefan? Trick Daddy?

We’ve got all those beat: meet the Postmarks.

You might remember a time, a little more than a year ago, when there were tons and tons of animated videos on Subterranean. We actually got complaints for playing too many animated videos - but we couldn’t help it! There was a whole flood of them, starting with that amazing Aberfeldy “Love Is An Arrow” Eskimo video. We don’t anticipate the flood gates opening again, but we love this adorable animated video from the Postmarks.

Give it an eyeball or two - they were produced by Andy Chase, who also worked with Ivy, Brookville & Tahiti 80, who enhances their almost French pop style. Wow, we wrote that and then read down further on the press release where they describe their own sound as having “nods to French pop and Brian Wilson’s orchestral arrangements”. It’s good to be right.

We feel we just have to post that Aberfeldy video for you, in case you missed it.
