Making The Video: Scissor Sisters

Unagi is the Japanese name for freshwater eel. Nagi Noda is the Japanese name of the design-guru/avant-garde filmmaker who directed the new Scissor Sisters video, “She’s My Man.” Unlike eel, the video is neither slimy, nor delicious. It is a vibrant, high concept food fight - well, a dish fight - that bends reality with the help of a team of black-clad puppeteers who set the whole stage spinning into chaotic choreography. The Sisters say, “I really don’t feel like she’s a music video director, she’s more of an all-around artist.” Groovy. Hit play below to see the blow-by-blow making-of “She’s My Man.”
