Another lovely Friday and the Subterranean blog is pleased to bring you another lovely video premiere. This week we bring you the new video for “Central and Remote” from our friends Grizzly Bear.
The video was directed by Jesse Ewles, who is responsible for the Final Fantasy “He Poos Clouds” and Wax Mannequin “The Price” videos.
This video invokes a dream-like sequence of events using a mixture of photography and animation, yet feels more real than Ewles previous works - as if it could have happened to you while you were sleeping last night. It is an excellent fit with GB’s dreamy, slow song.
