As you probably know, the Tom Tom Club came together as a Talking Heads side project for members Tina Weymouth and Chris Franz. You also certainly know their super hit single “Genius of Love” (or one of the billion songs that sampled it).
How well do you remember the other Tom Tom songs though? If you give them a listen you realize they’re those songs you’ve heard before but didn’t realize who did them. Take “Sunshine and Ecstasy” for example. We knew every word but don’t know where this New Order in Ibiza style video came from.
