It’s Tuesday so you know what that means: another nugget of fun unearthed from the closet of music videos. We keep ‘em right next to our shoes.

This week, for your approval, we submit 1990’s “Annie’s Gone” by L.A. punky/grunge-ish pioneers Redd Kross. So, you know how Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are all weird cover albums, all the time? Redd Kross invented that trick in their genre. The spent the first half of their careers doing Bowie and Yoko Ono and breakfast ceral commericals under various names.

Finally in the ’90s they settled down and popped this college radio favorite out. Cross dressing men in videos = always scary, but cross X Kross = funny?
