Your bruised and battered Subterranean blogger spent yesterday evening with Peter Bjorn & John while they played the mtvU Rookie Showcase (we’ll link you to that performance footage as it becomes available later today) and played around with Virtual MTV. In fact, we made sure to get some screen shots of the later for Idolator, who can’t ever seem to find anyone in vMTV - we were looking for your screenname, Idolator, to see if you were one of the avatars PB&J virtually made out with. Don’t tell us you wouldn’t have done it.

It’s Kenna! One of our co-workers saw him in the crowd and brought him back to PB&J’s poolside bungalow to say hi after the show.

Three rooms of people signed in to Virtual MTV to meet PB&J - and look how cute virtual Peter’s avatar is. His favorite thing was making it dance, while Bjorn spent time trying to figure out how to get around the mobs of pixels and John was the sleeper hit of the party and spoke to almost every avatar in the virtual room.
