The dear hearts over at mtvU are launching a new promo camapign this week called Ahead of the Curve (that interestingly was shot at SXSW back in March) featuring short original compositions (or in some cases just original positions) from artists like Marnie Stern, Black Lips, Cold War Kids, Deerhunter and about a dozen more.
We’ve been looking at the list all day going “omg omg omg, how do we pick just one to post on the blog??” So we picked several.
Bonde de Role do it in a hammock hold.
Kenna does it with a laptop.
Asobi Seksu do it ethereally.
