Video Premiere: Sea Wolf “Winter Windows”

It’s a day of premieres ’round the Subterranean blog and we’re going to start you off with the newest Sea Wolf video from his brand new full length album. “Winter Widows” was directed by indie maven Cat Solen (you know her work with CSS, Bright Eyes, Death Cab, Trail of the Dead and the infamous Decemberists video that launched a thousand “so you think you can animate our indie video” contests). Between the fall leaves and all the plaid wool accessories, this may be the perfect October video. Solen’s trademark twisted humor subtly presents itself in the movements of the on-set accessories and one of our co-workers, on previewing the video, exclaimed that Alex Church (who is Sea Wolf, in case there was any lingering confusion on the matter) looks like he’s killed before and may kill again.
