The first thing we thought when we watched Panda Bear’s video is that it’s an even more lo-fi take on Sonic Youth’s “100%” vid. The repetition of the music with repetition of shots over it creates a lulling effect.
Plus, the end has a twist. We hate when people tell us that, but it was a little unexpected.

For their third video off Icky Thump, the Stripes got in the ring with video maven Diane Martel (responsible for such classics as ODB’s “Brooklyn Zoo”, Franz Ferdinand’s “Do You Want To” and Clay Aiken’s “Invisible” - yes, really) to put a bull to the test.
