Hot Chip “Ready For the Floor”

Aw yeah, new Hot Chip! We saw this video a little while ago and it’s quite an interesting direction the HCers have opted to go in. The song is, of course, fantastic. The visuals are, quite oddly, Batman. Perhaps this is a commenatry on the duality of human nature in the digital age - the negative comments on blogs from people who are real life wallflowers; how drunk texting will let you be so bold and say things you’d otherwise never dare; and the fast, tacky celebrity that comes from digital distribution of a sex tape.

Or maybe dudes just like Batman a lot.
