We got word that Senor Moby was taping a new video for his next/first single “I Love To Move In Here” last Friday at NYC’s Slipper Room so we sent a spy down to gather some info.

What we got back was this photo of Moby with Grandmaster Caz’s (who, our source informs us, was the writer of “Rappers Delight” and Wiki informs us was the founder of Sugar Hill Records) homies. We strongly suspect that hilarity ensued.

Moby + Caz Crew

A brief synopsis of the video that Mute Records sent us reveals, “Grandmaster Caz fronts a band of drag queens that includes Lady Bunny while Moby checks the scene from a booth in the back. And yes, the video also features puppetry in the form of a squid creature that crashes the show.”

The video is directed by Toben Seymour, who you know from his Willowz video for “Cons & Tricks” since we played the crap out of it. We’re told he also directed the new Louis XIV for “Guilt By Association”.
