Let’s start today with some serious sad bastard music. Imagine it’s 1964 and you’re hanging out in Greenwich Village. You look vaguely like Audrey Hepburn and you wear black turtlenecks. When some guy breaks your heart you don’t break his face - you head to your local coffee shop and sing a song about it.

We could have just described New York anti-folk artist Jaymay, except she’s more Lower East Side circa now.

Watch her perform the seriously sad “You Are The Only One I Love” from MTV UK’s Spankin’ New Sessions.
