Our friends at Sub Pop let us know that our other friends in the Helio Sequence (those are our only friends, aside from you) have been busy in Portland filming a video for “Keep Your Eyes Ahead” from their album of the same name. Since we couldn’t be in Portland ourselves we asked them to take a few photos for us and holy crap! They sent us so many photos it made us well up with tears.

The basic info: the video is directed by everybody’s new indie favorite, Whitey McConnaughy, and was filmed over three days in P-town. The jist of it is the band perform on a moving stage that they shot in multiple locations all over the city.

Helio Sequence - Day 1 - 17

Oh and if you’re wondering what your favorite indie rock bands do when they’re not touring? Lorin from The Thermals was the welder on the set of the video and the guys from Menomena acted as P.A.’s. Everyday you learn something new in indie rock.
