If you remember Everything But the Girl at all it’s for their hit ballad (and moster remixed) “Missing”. The duo of Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt went on to some big things in the UK - Watt with his Lazy Dog club nights and compilation series plus an auto-biographical novel about his battle with Churg-Stauss syndrome and Thorn, who’d previously provided backing vocals to everyone from The Go-Betweens to the Style Council, with several projects with Massive Attack and a solo album released on Astralwerks last year.
The two also collaborated on their personal lives - you’d have a hard time getting them to talk about it but they’re married with three kids.
