Have a little peak with us at the high anticipated first video from the long-awaited Tokyo Police Club full length album. The video will be for their first single “Tessellate”. The quickest description we can give you is to imagine War Games from the point of view of Lucas, Corey Haim’s adorably dorky ’80s character. The video is much more than that though - in fact, the treatment we got to read was 17 pages long!
Most of our shots are from inside the video’s “war room” - where a game of psychological Risk is played while our hero Kevin figures out how to beat his bully. Mom, Dad, his big brother, the Coach, his girlfriend and more battle it out UN style to decide Kevin’s next move.
And speaking of TPC videos, the kids over at mtvU are running a contest to find a student filmmaker to make TPC’s next video. If you’re still in college and think you could do it, go apply!
