Say you’re Ian McCullough in 1993 or so. Echo & the Bunnymen have been broken up since ‘90 and Brit Pop is exploding all around you but you’re putting nothing out. What would you do?
McCullough just called up his fellow Bunnyman Will Sargeant and in 1994 they formed Electrafixion, which was suposed to be a “rockier” Bunnyman sound. And when they needed to tour those just called up those two guys in Marion, cause God knows they could use the work.
The whole idea was half-baked and Electrafixion was dissolved in 1996 in favor of a Bunnymen reunion. However, this video remains as a document to McCullough’s ever exploding ego.
