If you feel that Vincent Moon has been quieter than normal lately then let us tip you off: he’s been working on a documentary about The National and the making of Boxer. It’ll be called “A Skin, A Night” and is coming out this summer. We may or may not have stolen a copy of the accompanying CD from the Beggars offices when we were there - new National songs! See a sneak peek of the movie.
We’ve heard a few inside scoop things about the movie - band coming into their own, singer struggling with the exposure that comes with songwriting - all stuff that makes us want to see it and rescore John Hughes movies with it.
