mtvU’s Turn It Up campaign continues this week with a stream of the forthcoming Santogold album. If you’re curious we recommend giving it a listen - we were totally impressed. Ok, so here some stuff we found on the Internets that we did not previously know about Santi White:
1) She went to Wesleyan.
2) She was in a new wave/punk band in Philly who had an EP produced by Daryl Jenifer from Bad Brains.
3) She was an A&R rep at Epic.
4) She wrote and produced the excellent debut album How I Do from Res.
