Let's see if this will play for you in the U.S. - MTV UK's Sessions with Lykke Li doing "Dance Dance Dance".
We're so dumb we forgot to post about this first thing today! So No Age's "Eraser" premiered on FNMTV on Friday night! And we were there with them the whole time! It was crazy man. We asked Randy to send us some of the photos he was taking of random stuff there so hopefully we'll share that with you soon.
At any rate, go to the FNMTV site and watch No Age. We also urge you to leave a comment cos a lot of dumb kids are posting about how they don't like the song since it has no words. Lame.
Below is the clip of the FNMTV panel discussing their completely badass amazing video.
Because we're on Wednesday 7/2 at 10PM this week, remember? Double check and make sure you're set to record, unless you're going to be at home and watching Subterranean live. In which case we also applaude you.
And don't forget The Kooks will be our special guest in this episode.
We discovered our new favorite band over the weekend. On Subterranean's "must DVR" list is a show called New York Noise that's on a local channel. Anywho, this weekend they played something from a band called This Is Ivy League that's very twee and lovable (twee is so our summer style, we've been noticing) and from Brooklyn!
Please to enjoy their "London Bridges" video.
This band seem to want their video on Subterranean but we're on the fence. So we're bringing it to you guys. What do you think? Should we play Kaiser Cartel or leave it on the shelf?
The dudes over at MTV2 UK tipped us off to this very indie video from Stricken City. It's a cross between a fashion show and a photo shoot, we think? At any rate, this girl singer really reminds of us of Tonya Donelly in her 90s wild days - vocally. Aesthetically she's more Eleanor from the Fiery Furnaces.
Excellent news from the Subterranean camp today boys and girls: we're moving! Starting on July 5 Subterranean will air on Saturday nights at 11PM EST on MTV2. We're stoked! And to celebrate we'll have MGMT as our guests that week.
In other important to note news, this Sunday night there will be no Subterranean - in honor of MTV2's Independents week they've moved us for one week only to Wednesday July 2 at 10PM. And we'll feature segments from our guests The Kooks. So tune in!
You might have seen Time Machine's dancey video for "The Groove That Just Won't Stop" on Subterranean last week and thought to yourself, "Hm, I love/hate this video but who are this band?"
Look no further. The smarties over at mtvU named them one of their Freshman Five artists for the summer and, as such, produced a little Backstage Pass interview with them that we'd like to share with you. Learning is fundamental.

Since The Smiths we've been a fan of long, unwieldy song titles. And then since Fall Out Boy started gleaming the style we've groaned at it. So when we had Los Camps in we asked them if their crazy song titles were a nod to the twee bands of yore. After they giggled at us, they gave quite an interesting answer - have a peep.
It's that kind of day for us. Morose. Sort of anxious. Weird and odd tempered. Moz just coz time.
We basically adore Santogold and would do whatever she tells us to. We feel quite the same about Santosilver vs. Santogold. What? Watch. See more Santi Artist of the Week clips on MTV.com.
