If you’re wondering why your Subterranean blogger has been so quiet the last few days, we took a field trip to L.A. to work on FN MTV with Vampire Weekend. Right now we’re kicking it in the production office of the show (who happen to share a set with the Showtime hit “Weeds” and we saw the teenage son earlier walking the biggest, scariest looking dog ever) and waiting for the band to arrive.
We’ll send you an update tomorrow if anything terribly interesting transpires, but make sure to tune in to FN MTV (and this blog) on Friday night when we’ll world premiere Vampire Weekend’s new video “Oxford Comma”. We recommend DVRing it if you’re one of those people who leaves their house on Friday night - it’s on from 8-9PM EST.
Oh and next Friday 6/27 No Age will premiere their new video for “Eraser” on FN MTV. That’s right, No Age on MTV proper. Yeah, we had a little something to do with that. It involved voodoo.
