This magnificent looking music video comes from Canadian director Alan Poon, on his first music video outing. We are very into the dulcet, sparseĀ songs from Raleigh’s Bowerbirds and this nature-based clip is a lovely match for them.
Poon explains in the video treatment that the images were created by taking individual snapshots of each animal in each position and approximately 5 seconds of animation per day can be made. Interestingly he features three different nature vignettes - a crow (we think), a pair of preying mantisesĀ and a crab - and there are three members of Bowerbirds. One to represent each band member, perhaps?
