“Touch Me” is the premiere video from My Morning Jacket’s excellent album Evil Urges. It’s an interesting concept - a night ride on a float down a river from the point of view of a little monkey named Jasper who has some evil urges.
The video was directed by The Mixtape Club (also the minds behind Yeasayer’s “Wait for the Summer”) who might be the youngest directors out there now - time will tell if they’re the most talented but we’ve got our eyes on them.
One of their direct lighting and concept inspirations for the video is the forthcoming Spike Jonze movie adaptation “Where The Wild Things Are”.
