We’ve been making our top ten records for 2008 list in our head in all seriousness since about mid November. The Dutchess and the Duke, on the new Sub Pop imprint Hardly Art, is absolutely square in our top five. We love this early Stones sounding track and the lo-fi video strikes just the right heartbreak meets anger tone, to our eyes.
